Job summary
A dynamic engineering firm in the Metro Vancouver area seeks an Applications Associate/Specialist/Engineer. In this role, you will provide engineering sales support for projects related to food processing. Responsibilities include reviewing customer requirements, designing equipment, and creating proposals. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and possess hands-on experience in mechanical design and food processing. Proficiency in AutoCAD and excellent communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Registered P.Eng. or treated as Application Specialist.
- Hands-on experience in food processing and mechanical equipment design.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret customer requirements and bid packages.
- Design/configure proposed equipment with detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure functional and efficient solutions.
- Create technical drawings for equipment layouts.
- Complete project cost analyses and professional proposals.
- Handoff projects to the Project Management Office.
