• Salary scale 006: $95,900 to $119,900 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

As Production Manager of the Plessisville plant, you will be responsible for workforce planning, monitoring, training, and coaching in collaboration with supervisors. You'll work closely with continuous improvement teams to integrate the DMS within your sector. More specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Coaching supervisors in technical and human aspects: disciplinary meetings, setting expectations, observing safety behaviors, labor relations, problem-solving, etc.

• Assessing workforce needs and overseeing training with supervisors and trainers

• Tracking performance indicators and leading progress initiatives

• Optimizing processes in collaboration with continuous improvement teams through production indicators, ensuring mastery by production teams

• Developing processes and proposing investment projects

• Reviewing results with improvement teams monthly and actively participating in continuous improvement tool implementation

• Managing daily communications to align team priorities

• Maintaining food quality and safety standards

• Implementing and promoting Health & Safety policies

What you need to join our team:

Our Production Manager for the Plessisville plant should have:

• A bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, operations management, food engineering, or another relevant field

• 5 to 7 years of experience as a Production Director in the food or manufacturing sector

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English is required to collaborate with colleagues from other Canadian provinces)
