Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

1. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
2. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
3. Work with the agent and office team to establish and meet marketing goals.

1. Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
2. Successful track record of meeting sales goals / quotas preferred.
3. Motivated by and works well in competitive situations.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, treating others with respect and courtesy.
5. Excellent communication skills - listening, oral and written.
6. Proactive in problem-solving.
7. Dedicated to customer service, and acts with integrity.
8. Ability to accurately gather data and document interactions with clients.
9. Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
10. Life, Property & Casualty licenses (Essential).
