Job description

This is a 12-month fixed-term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension.

This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a Content Specialist with a sharp, creative eye and keen attention to detail. You will oversee the creative refresh and launch of campaigns by providing end-to-end operational support. This role involves liaising between DEPT teams and clients to coordinate final assets for trafficking. You will set up, test, check, and schedule creative assets for marketing placements on landing pages, emails, and push notifications. Additionally, you will support audience and campaign management, quality control, and assurance to ensure on-time, error-free campaign launches, and report on any issues. Working closely with eBay Canada’s Marketing teams, you will develop landing page wireframes to manage launches and ongoing refreshes of various landing pages.

DAY-TO-DAY:

  1. Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and setting up campaigns for launch.
  2. Manage operational setup and testing for multiple campaigns, prioritising workload to launch campaigns and assets on schedule.
  3. Manage and deploy content in client-specific tools and advise clients on optimal content setup to achieve their goals.
  4. Support quality assurance by reviewing project deliverables to meet client expectations and DEPT design standards.
  5. Liaise with clients, clarify questions, manage expectations, and communicate status, updates, or recommendations proactively.
  6. Communicate campaign updates or requirements clearly to stakeholders.
  7. Build and maintain strong client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and high-quality design solutions.
  8. Maintain high standards and add value wherever possible.
  9. Ensure projects are delivered and launched on time, reporting any issues.

SKILLS & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, report writing, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience working proactively and autonomously without extensive guidance.
  • Experience with content management systems, reporting tools, and project management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Efficient at working within short timeframes and managing schedules and priorities.
  • Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail and task prioritisation skills.
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and improve.
  • Personable, approachable, collaborative, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Moderate understanding of digital creative production and operational processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities.

WE OFFER

  • A flexible, hybrid working policy.
  • Mental health support and company sick pay scheme.
  • 15 days paid holiday plus public holidays.
  • Office refreshments all week.
  • Social and cultural events for team connection.
  • Inspirational talks with guest speakers and events.
  • Learning and development opportunities.
  • Buddy programme for onboarding support.
