The Role: We are seeking a Project Manager who excels at driving team-specific execution across marketing, development, and product functions. Rather than focusing on a single large cross-functional initiative, this role involves working closely within each department to ensure smooth execution of their own workflows and deliverables, while also supporting interdepartmental coordination for shared projects when needed.

Think of yourself as the person who helps each team stay focused, moves their priorities forward, and keeps their work running efficiently—whether it's managing the content calendar with the marketing team, coordinating a release schedule with the development team, or tracking a new feature rollout with the product team.

1. Lead and manage team-specific projects: Work with individual teams (marketing, development, or product) to scope out their project pipelines, set timelines, and ensure milestones are met.
2. Maintain project visibility and accountability: Create and manage task boards (Coda - Marketing team, Jira - Development and Product teams) for each department, conduct regular check-ins, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
3. Support cross-functional initiatives: For larger campaigns or product launches that involve multiple departments, coordinate timelines and communication across teams to keep everyone aligned.
4. Act as an execution partner: Work alongside team leads and individual contributors to translate goals into actionable steps, clarify expectations, and identify bottlenecks before they escalate.
5. Deliver clear documentation: Prepare briefs, progress updates, and reports that help the team stay informed and focused.
6. Monitor priorities and adjust timelines as needed: Keep an eye on shifting demands and reallocate resources or adjust deadlines in collaboration with leads.

3. Comfortable managing multiple timelines at once and switching contexts throughout the day.
4. Equally capable of working independently and coordinating group efforts.
5. Adept at recognizing when a task needs to escalate from a team-specific concern to a company-wide collaboration.

1. 2-4 years of project management experience in a digital, tech, or media environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage several parallel workstreams across siloed teams.
3. Familiarity with project management tools, specifically Jira and Coda.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Understanding of how marketing campaigns, digital product development, or tech sprint cycles work.

1. Experience working in media, entertainment, or education sectors.
2. Previous work with remote or distributed teams.
