Why This Role is Open:

We are seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our portfolio of institutional buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional facilities management services.

Responsibilities:

• Facility Operations:

• Oversee daily operations, including cleaning, security, and maintenance.

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans.

• Manage facility budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.

• Maintenance Management:

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Work with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality service.

• Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses.

• Risk Management:

• Identify and assess potential risks to facility operations.

• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

• Tenant Relations:

• Respond to tenant requests and concerns in a timely manner.

• Manage tenant relations and resolve issues.

• Sustainability:

• Implement sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.

• Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for savings.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in institutional settings.

• Strong understanding of building systems and maintenance practices.

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certifications in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA CFM)

• Experience with LEED or other sustainability certifications.
