Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a full-time in-home caregiver in Westmount, Quebec. You will supervise and care for four children and support the household with meal preparation and cleaning. The ideal candidate must have secondary education and at least one year of experience. Flexible scheduling and weekend availability are required. Competitive pay between $17 and $19 per hour.
Qualifications
- At least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver.
- Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to manage the job without supervision.
Responsibilities
- Help care for four children, aged 15, 12, 7, and 6.
- Supervise children when parents are not at home.
- Organize activities like games, crafts, and outings.
- Discipline children according to parents' methods.
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals; cleanup required.
- Perform general housework including laundry and dusting.

- NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Home child care provider
Terms of employment- This job is for a full-time position (40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work is required. Job start date is as soon as possible
Language required – French or English.
Salary- Wage offered is between $17 and 19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.
Location- PaNa.. live in the city of Westmount, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 165). The major intersection is Cote des Neiges / Remembrance Road
- This job is for helping the employers care for their four youngest children, ages #15 yrs, #12 yrs, #7 yrs, and #6 yrs old.
- Supervision of children when parents are not at home
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- work with a flex schedule and another worker
- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children. Kitchen clean-up is also required
- General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing
- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
- Must have at least one year of work related experience as a caregiver.
- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
