Job Description
The Clinical Nurse applies nursing process and theories, along with principles of psychosocial and physical sciences, to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate, and modify patient care. The role emphasizes quality outcomes and innovative practices in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies. The nurse is responsible for the quality of nursing services provided, adhering to the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Bill of Rights for Nursing. Collaboration with other disciplines ensures optimal, individualized patient care and outcomes. The position supports service excellence and a healing environment.
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
Recent one (1) year clinical nursing experience in surgical services preferred.
License/Certifications
Registered Nurse License - California Board of Registered Nursing
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Effective communication in English, with the ability to perform complex speaking, reading, writing, and mathematics skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate appropriately.
Ages of Patients Served
This position serves patients aged one year and older.
Salary Range:
$85.14 - $111.21 USD per hour
