ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), complemented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

This is a permanent position. You will be architecting/designing and developing, delivering and deploying BI applications for our client's customers. You will work with their sales/presales team to grow existing business and win new business as the key technical resource.

1. Take leadership role in working with clients and consulting team to help determine product direction for functionality enhancements.
2. Provide assistance to clients on a day-to-day basis on how to use the product.
3. Perform periodic demos of the product to potential clients.
4. On a consulting basis, work on site with clients to help them better utilize the product.
5. Perform intermediate level training sessions with clients.
6. Provide assistance to clients to understand the product from a modeling perspective.
7. Create business specifications for developers.
8. Work with developers on an ongoing basis to enhance the product.
9. Perform Quality Assurance testing on the product.
10. Write and edit user documentation on the product.
11. May work as part of a development team on long-term projects to deliver production applications.
12. Provide input into consulting services proposals.
13. Encourage and foster individual professional growth, as well as teamwork among project staff.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Advanced knowledge of merchandising business environment; (Mark down, promo pricing and regular price management.)
2. Working experience with the software development and the software development cycle.
3. Strong understanding of retail pricing models.
4. Advanced systems analysis skills.

7. Strong ability to conceptualize client needs and translate into specific implementation strategies.

13. Bachelor's or graduate level degree in Mathematics, Finance or other related degree.
14. Partial or complete accreditation to professional designation such as CFA, PRM, or FRM.
15. 2-3 years of work experience in software deployment in a retail environment.

• Experience with RDBMS, data warehousing, analytics or Business Intelligence (BI) including any experience with any data warehousing or BI tools (e.g., Cognos, Informatica, Hyperion, SAS, Business Objects, Information Builders (IBI), Generation5, Angoss, Peregrine, g5, SPSS, Teradata, MicroStrategy, Netezza, ODESIA etc).
