Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? We're looking for an Accountant Associate to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll help manage and optimize our AR processes, support audit and compliance efforts, and provide world-class service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Process customer payments including checks and credit cards—while ensuring accurate setup and onboarding for new customer accounts.
- Partner closely with AR team members to prepare and distribute semi-monthly dunning emails to applicable customer accounts.
- Generate and review accounts receivable aging reports to identify and prioritize collection activities.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices with the objective of minimizing write-offs.
- Prepare reconciliations for customer accounts and other reports as needed to ensure financial accuracy, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Deliver timely, high-quality customer service to both external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Propose and prepare journal entries, including adjustments and write-offs, to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support internal controls by participating in SOX compliance testing as well as internal and external audits.
- Recommend, develop, and assist in updating policies and procedures to improve efficiency, scalability, and control within the accounting function.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- AR experience and the role involves a mix of data entry, routine processes, and accountant responsibilities such as analyzing and ensuring accurate financial information.
- Expertise in working with advanced Excel.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Oracle ERP systems.
- CPA designation or in progress is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Prior experience in Accounts Receivable processes.
- Background in financial operations within multinational organizations is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Results-oriented, with a passion for driving process improvements and influencing change in complex environments.
