Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services represents a real estate investment company seeking a Finance Manager to oversee Yardi and financial systems in Toronto, ON. The role is focused on system administration, data integrity and cross-functional support across accounting, property management and reporting activities.

You will manage configurations, workflows and access, coordinate upgrades and testing, and drive process improvements in partnership with IT, finance and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the listed fields or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years administering Yardi Voyager or similar PM systems.
• Experience supporting accounting, property management, leasing and real estate operations.
• Experience with system implementations, upgrades, integrations and change management.
• Strong Yardi Voyager configuration experience and security knowledge.
• Proficient with security roles, user groups, menus/permissions, account trees and intercompany structures.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis abilities.
• Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements and segregation of duties.
• Ability to distinguish application issues from infrastructure or integration problems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Yardi Voyager and related modules.
• Configure system settings, workflows, security roles, permissions, and user access.
• Support testing, upgrades and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot functional and application-related issues.
• Coordinate with IT on infrastructure and technical concerns.
• Implement approved enhancements through change-management processes.
• Maintain configuration, controls and support documentation.
• Manage workflows, approval rules, account trees, charge codes and reporting structures.
• Data management: imports, exports, conversions, migrations; ensure data accuracy.
• Develop validation/audit procedures; assist with acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio transitions.
• Support reporting, BI needs and reconciliations; collaborate with IT/vendors on projects.
• Keep security and access controls aligned with segregation-of-duties requirements.
