Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Human Resources Administrator in Winnipeg on a contract basis. The role covers recruitment coordination, onboarding, and maintaining personnel files, with a focus on confidentiality and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and eager to contribute to a positive employee experience in a busy HR department.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as HR Administrator or HR support role.
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (HRIS, Payworks, ADP or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews.
  • Facilitate onboarding and ensure documentation/system entries are complete.
  • Maintain digital and physical employee records with privacy compliance.
  • Assist benefits and leaves of absence administration; serve as staff contact.
  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, and HR correspondence.
  • Assist with coordination of employee engagement events and internal communications.
