Job summary

Aviso is seeking a detail-oriented HR Reporting & Systems Analyst in Vancouver to design and maintain complex employee data reports and dashboards using Workday. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, understand reporting requirements, and deliver actionable insights to guide strategic HR decisions.

You will focus on Workday reporting capabilities, security, and HCM knowledge, while also leveraging Excel and Power BI for data visualization.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in computer science, HR, data analytics, or information systems management.
• 3+ years of HR reporting and data analytics experience in Workday.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting tools, security, and HCM knowledge.
• Experience with EIBs to support mass data updates is preferred.
• Strong Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI a plus).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize employee data reports, fields, dashboards, and discovery boards in Workday.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions and insights.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR reporting inquiries and ad-hoc requests.
• Deliver enterprise-wide self-service dashboards and scheduled reporting.
• Improve reporting processes and automate where possible.
• Support audit activities with data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Create and use EIBs for mass data updates and ensure data quality.
• Assist with basic configuration like business processes, validation rules, and alerts.
• Maintain documentation of reporting processes, data definitions, and report catalogues.
• Stay current with Workday updates and industry best practices.
• Support HR Systems team with daily requests and special projects.
