Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton seeks a Senior Analyst for People & Culture Systems (Workday) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Workday HCM, reporting, and security. You will design, implement, and optimize Workday functionality, collaborating with HR, Payroll, Technology, and Finance to translate business needs into effective solutions.

You will maintain core Workday data, support releases, and develop comprehensive reports and analytics, while contributing to a collaborative hybrid environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems/Human Resources or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in HRIS management, including 2+ years Workday HCM module experience.
• Advanced Excel experience with large data sets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Develop and maintain Workday reports using Report Writer and Report Designer.
• Experience with Workday Security.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well and collaborate in a hybrid team environment.
• Exceptional time management, project planning, and communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Workday HCM, configure and maintain business processes, notifications, and conditional rules; implement and enhance modules.
• Design, implement, and enhance Workday functionality to support People & Culture objectives and continuous improvements.
• Partner with People & Culture, Payroll, Technology, and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into Workday solutions.
• Maintain foundational Workday data (org structures, locations, departments, position management, compensation, performance).
• Support Workday releases, testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and change impact assessments.
• Leverage Workday Community to identify optimization opportunities and improve user experience.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports (standard, matrix, composite) using Report Writer/Designer.
• Support People Analytics reporting and dashboard requirements in Workday.
• Create and maintain HRIS process documentation and provide timely issue resolution.
