Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton in Toronto, ON is seeking a Senior Analyst, People & Culture Systems [Workday] to act as SME for Workday HCM, configure processes, and drive optimization.

You will partner with People & Culture, Payroll, Technology and Finance to translate business needs into Workday solutions, maintain data, support releases, and develop reports. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years HRIS/Workday experience are required; hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems/Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HRIS experience with at least 2 years in Workday HCM.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets.
• Experience creating Workday reports (matrix/composite).
• Experience with Workday Security.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Experience in a Centre of Excellence environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Workday HCM; configure and maintain business processes.
• Design, implement, and enhance Workday functionality to support objectives and process improvements.
• Partner with People & Culture, Payroll, Technology, and Finance to translate needs into Workday solutions.
• Maintain foundational Workday data: org structures, locations, departments, positions, compensation, and performance.
• Support Workday releases, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and change impact assessments.
• Leverage Workday Community to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports using Report Writer/Designer.
• Support People Analytics reporting and dashboards.
• Create and maintain HRIS process documentation and provide timely support.
