Job summary

Jobgether is helping a partner company in Canada to recruit a Workday Compensation Manager for a complex shipboard payroll project. You will oversee testing, validate configurations, and ensure go-live readiness for a January 1 launch, coordinating with HR, HRIS, Compensation teams and SI partners.

The role requires deep Workday compensation experience, unionized workforce knowledge, and the ability to lead contractors or a small team while aligning with contractual requirements and operational

Qualifications

• Experience as Workday Compensation Manager or senior Workday Compensation implementation role.
• Hands-on Workday Compensation implementation, configuration, testing and deployment readiness.
• Strong understanding of unionized compensation structures and CBAs.
• Experience validating compensation rules, pay rates, allowances, bonuses and complex elements.
• Proven ability to lead integration testing and coordinate with SI.

Responsibilities

• Lead final integration testing between Workday Compensation and MAPS crew system.
• Validate Workday configurations to reflect complex shipboard compensation policies.
• Verify union requirements, CBAs, pay rates, allowances and bonuses.
• Identify defects and coordinate resolutions with the systems integrator.
• Provide leadership to contractors and possibly 1–2 direct reports.
• Coordinate stakeholders and communicate risks and testing outcomes.
• Support go-live readiness for January 1 launch.
