Lever, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Workday Payroll Functional Consultant to work remotely from Canada or the US. You will implement, optimize, and support Workday Payroll configurations across US and Canadian environments, serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

The role combines hands-on Workday configuration with consulting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Expect collaboration across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking to ensure accurate processing and strong system performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Payroll (US and Canada).
• Strong understanding of Canadian and US payroll processes, compliance, and reporting.
• Proven experience managing payroll processes using Strada Payroll systems.
• Proficiency with Workday modules related to Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with professional fluency in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support deployment, configuration, and post-implementation support of Workday Payroll for US/Canada.
• Collaborate with client Payroll leads to assess and improve configurations and processes.
• Manage functional changes and evaluate downstream impact across Workday modules.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking for integrations and processing accuracy.
• Review and refine payroll configurations and processes to meet business needs.
• Prioritize and respond to client support cases with high service levels.
• Provide guidance to optimize Workday Payroll environments.
• Maintain clear documentation and deliverables within timelines.
