Job summary

nVent is seeking a high-performance sales professional to drive the CADDY & GARDNER BENDER commercial electrical, mechanical, and fire protection businesses in the Western region. You will travel about 50% within the region and manage a robust opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.

Responsibilities include leading sales agents, developing regional strategies, and building strong relationships with end users and distributor partners to deliver compelling value propositions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or applicable experience in technical outside sales.
• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical sales with focus on commercial sales.
• 5+ years outside sales and/or territory management.
• Experience working with end user customers on projects.
• Experience leading direct reports and/or 3rd party sales agents.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals for CADDY & GARDNER BENDER businesses in the Western region.
• Actively lead sales agents, aligning goals with territory strategy.
• Build relationships across end user customers and distributor partners.
• Provide product expertise and coordinate training for key contractors.
• Deliver presentations and discuss value propositions to win business.
• Develop regional sales strategies and tactical plans to hit targets.
• Communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally.
• Utilize Salesforce to manage opportunity pipeline and report feedback.
