Job summary

Optima Living is seeking a Recreation Manager to lead planning and delivery of recreation programs that support resident wellness, engagement, and quality of life. The role develops diverse programming across seven wellness dimensions and fosters an inclusive, person-centered environment in alignment with our mission and standards.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will supervise the recreation team, coordinate with volunteers, and utilize Welbi reports to tailor activities to resident

Qualifications

• Graduate in Therapeutic Recreation or related health program.
• Minimum of one year leadership in residential care or similar.
• Knowledge of resident engagement and aging needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and delivery of recreation programs for resident wellness.
• Develops programs across seven wellness dimensions.
• Maintains resident profiles and attendance records in Welbi.
• Coordinates volunteers and supports family/resident engagement.
• Participates in resident care conferences with the team.
• Ensures safety and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
