LEV Senior Living in Oshawa, ON is seeking an energetic Recreation Manager to lead our resident-focused recreation program. You will assess residents' needs, design engaging activities, and ensure events align with wellness goals while supervising staff and volunteers.

This full-time role requires a Diploma in Recreation Therapy or equivalent, strong leadership, and a willingness to work some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Recreation Therapy or equivalent.
• Proven related experience.
• Valid G license with clean driving abstract.
• Current criminal reference check including vulnerable sector screen.
• SmartServe certification required prior to start.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology

Responsabilités

• Meet with residents to assess recreational needs & interests.
• Develop, promote, and implement recreation programs and events based on wellness dimensions.
• Recruit, orient, train, and recognize staff, volunteers, and co-op students as integral parts of the program.
• Collaborate with team members and volunteers to run successful recreational programs and team meetings.
