Job summary

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a Wellness Assistant at the Saskatoon Campus to deliver exceptional customer service, assist with events, and manage access via Fusion software. The role requires coordinating wellness services and serving as the first contact for wellness inquiries.

The position emphasizes a positive, inclusive environment with opportunities to support campus wellness initiatives and daily operations, including equipment access and facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months’ customer service experience.
• Preference for current Saskatchewan Polytechnic students in good standing.
• Basic computer proficiency to navigate Fusion software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities in a busy service area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patrons on services, membership options, access procedures, and facility layout.
• Enforce rules, guide equipment use, and communicate available services.
• Support campus wellness events in coordination with Student Experience.
• Manage Fusion door-access system and troubleshoot as needed.
• Clean and organize equipment and facility areas beyond cleaning contract.
