Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited in Gloucester, ON is seeking an experienced welder to read engineering drawings and fabricate aluminum structures. The role requires 5+ years of welding aluminum and steel and a valid Class G driver’s licence.

Certifications in SMAW, GMAW, or FCAW are highly desirable, with CWB certification seen as a strong asset. Candidates must be detail-oriented, capable of mentoring junior welders, and willing to work overtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in structural fitting and welding, with a focus on aluminum.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in welding aluminum and steel.
• Valid Class G driver’s license.
• Certifications in SMAW, GMAW, and/or FCAW are highly desirable.
• CWB certification for all positions and/or welding supervisor is a strong asset.
• Experience with rigging is an asset.
• Strong customer orientation, a willingness to learn, and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
• A strong sense of pride in your work and attention to detail.
