Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited in Gormley, Ontario is seeking a skilled welder to read engineered drawings, fabricate and repair structures and equipment, and maintain a safe, outdoor work environment.

The role requires 3+ years’ welding steel and aluminum, valid Class G license, and the ability to work overtime. Candidates should be comfortable outdoors year‑round and able to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer competitive pay, benefits, tool allowance, RRSP match, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Valid Class G driver's license required or equivalent with clean abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).
• Structural fitting and welding experience required.
• 3+ years’ experience welding steel and aluminum.
• SMAW, GMAW and/or FCAW certifications are a plus.
• CWB certification for stick welding is an asset.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round.
• Rigging experience is an asset.
• Customer oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Willing and able to work overtime when needed.
• Highly adaptable, self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be physically able to stand and lift ~50 lbs.

What You’ll Be Doing
