Job summary

FortWhyte Alive is seeking a Wedding, Event & Venue Coordinator to manage bookings for weddings, corporate rentals, and programs. You will host events, coordinate facilities, and ensure client needs are met with flexibility for weekday, evening, and weekend hours.

The role is a 12-month term, full-time, starting September 22, 2026, with a Tuesday to Saturday schedule (35 hours/week). You will work closely with the Wedding, Event & Venue Supervisor and related teams, coordinating with service

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in events hosting, banquet, or service industry.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail and guest service orientation.
• High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact and greet rental clients; coordinate needs.
• Set up facilities/rooms with tables, chairs, A/V, catering; communicate with staff.
• Ensure event sheets are accurate for timely invoicing.
• Meet with clients prior to events and coordinate with cleaning contractors.
• Order facility cleaning supplies.
