Job summary

Affirm seeks a Software Engineer II on the Marketing & Privacy Engineering team to build high-traffic web experiences in React/TypeScript, and to contribute to experimentation, instrumentation, and marketing integrations that support measurable growth and privacy.

You’ll partner with product, design, analytics, and data engineering to ship reliable features, break down work, and keep systems scalable, with ownership of code from idea to production.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue).
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to transform simple problems into multi-component solutions with well-tested, extensible code.
• Strong debugging, code review, and collaboration skills.
• Proactive growth mindset and effective communication with global teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
