Job summary

Spicers Canada Limited in Dartmouth, NS, seeks a full-time Warehouse Supervisor reporting to the Branch Manager, Atlantic Sign Graphics. You will lead warehouse staff, manage inventory, coordinate workflows, and ensure safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of warehouse experience, strong communication, and knowledge of paper and graphic arts. Valid forklift and walkie certifications are preferred; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of a secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of paper, graphic arts, and industrial products.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
• Superior leadership skills and interpersonal skills to manage employees, communication with a wide range of customers and to work closely with internal employees.
• Ability to foster high morale, enthusiasm, and teamwork.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Electric walkie certificate; Forklift certificate; WHMIS and TDG certifications.

Responsibilities

• Meet warehouse standards by contributing to plans, standards, and improvements.
• Ensure Branch Manager is aware of activities, problems and concerns.
• Delegate and assign tasks to warehouse staff.
• Supervise and ensure efficiency of all warehouse employees.
• Coordinate workflow with employees and conduct necessary training.
• Operate equipment safely and promote health and safety policies.
• Maintain inventory through physical and computer records.
• Resolve shipping issues and ensure proper paperwork daily.
