Job summary

Spicers Canada is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support Atlantic Sign Graphics. The role reports to the Branch Manager and includes coordinating receiving, put-away of stock, and resolving discrepancies. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in Dartmouth, NS.

Qualifications include a secondary school diploma and 1–3 years warehouse experience. Familiarity with Hyster, Raymond Reach, and lift trucks, along with proficiency in MS Office,

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of Hyster Counterbalance, Raymond Reach and Lift Truck is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of paper, graphic arts, and industrial products is an asset.
• Strong communication skills, oral and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve receiving issues and problems.
• Handle administrative duties (receiving and bills of lading).
• Pick customer orders for shipping products.
• Book incoming trucks and receiving containers.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing container paperwork.
• Enter incoming inventory.
• Resolve receiving and damaged stock issues.
• Resolve missing stock issues.
• Update customer returns.
• Update completed work orders.
• Move stock that has been put away.
• Other duties as assigned.
