Job summary

Jones Healthcare Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate to keep materials flowing safely and efficiently through receiving, storage, and distribution. You will ensure accurate inventory, support safe handling practices, and contribute to a well‑organized warehouse where safety is a priority.

You will help load and unload shipments, verify documents, and operate SAP for shipping. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and timely delivery to production lines with a starting hourly rate of $26.70

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift, deep-reach, and counterbalance equipment experience is ideal.
  • Safety policies and procedures must be followed at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and load trucks; verify materials against weigh bills and document receipts.
  • Inspect received materials; record damages, shortages, and store QA-released components.
  • Load outgoing materials in SAP; update shipping transactions and prepare shipping documents.
  • Pick and prepare orders based on production needs or customer requests for timely delivery.
  • Move materials to storage, supply packaging lines, and stage finished goods as needed.
  • Maintain daily safety checklists for equipment and promote a safe work environment.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized; adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental systems.
  • Participate in annual inventory counts and stock accuracy controls.

As Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a hands-on role in receiving, storing, and distributing materials that keep our packaging operations running smoothly. You’ll help ensure accuracy in inventory, support safe handling practices, and contribute to a well-organized, efficient warehouse environment where safety is a shared responsibility and a priority in every task.

Your impact:
  • Inbound & Outbound Material Handling: Unload and load trucks, verify materials against weigh bills, and ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Inventory Accuracy & Storage Control: Inspect received materials, record damages or shortages, obtain carrier signatures, and store QA-released components in designated rack locations.
  • SAP & Shipping Coordination: Load outgoing materials and finished goods, update shipping transactions in SAP, and prepare all required shipping documents or transfers.
  • Order Fulfilment & Distribution: Pick and prepare orders based on daily production or customer requirements and ensure timely delivery to packaging lines and production areas.
  • Material Movement & Line Support: Transport materials to and from storage areas, supply packaging lines, and remove finished goods from production lines as required.
  • Equipment & Safety Compliance: Maintain daily safety checklists for lift equipment and ensure safe operation of forklifts and material handling tools.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Complete all required clean‑up activities to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Quality & Compliance Adherence: Follow all requirements of the JHG Quality Management System, Health & Safety Management System, and Environmental Management System.
  • Inventory Control Support: Participate in annual inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials returned to stock.
What you’ll bring

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment operating forklift, deep-reach, and counterbalance equipment.
  • Strong safety-first mindset with a commitment to following all workplace safety policies, procedures and equipment operating guidelines, and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
  • Basic competency in mathematics and ability to use computer systems (SAP experience considered an asset).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading and writing).
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative when needed.
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform manual material handling tasks safely.
  • Self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability and reliability.
