Job summary

A major healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated professional to provide clerical support across various wards. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, answering calls, and booking appointments. The ideal candidate should possess previous clerical/reception experience and strong communication skills. Proficiency in computer systems is essential. This position is located in Canada, with initial placement at QEUH and may move to other sites as needed.

  • Post 1 – 25 hrs – 0800‑1445 Tues‑Fri
  • Post 2 – 19.5 hrs – Thurs & Friday 0900‑1600 & Saturday 0830‑1500
  • Post 3 – 22.5 hrs – Mon‑Fri 1515‑1900
  • Post 4 – 34 hrs – Wed‑Fri 0730‑1915
  • Post 5 – 18.5 hrs – Mon 0800‑1600, Tues 0800‑1545 & Wed 0800‑1145

Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours. Please state in your application which post you are applying for.

Responsibilities
  • Provide cover in multiple wards as required, ensuring efficient Health Records service to patients in a ward environment.
  • Receive patients, answer telephone, book appointments and maintain demographic information in the patient management system.

Location

This is a GGC‑wide post and can be moved to any location; initial base will be QEUH.
