Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Saint-Laurent to support GL reconciliation, month-end close and payroll transactions. Hybrid work options and strong benefits accompany this role, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

The position requires 3–5 years in a similar role, proficiency with Excel, and experience with ERP systems (D365) is an asset. Bilingual candidates are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or DEC in Accounting or related experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ERP systems (D365) is an asset.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Bilingual is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accrued liabilities.
• Identify problems and errors, investigate discrepancies.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain government remittances/deposits, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactions.
• Set up files, assist in budget completion.
• Complete administrative planning and other accounting tasks.
• Prepare payments to suppliers for approval.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
• Contribute to development of new ideas and improve work processes.
• Other related tasks.
