Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the full payroll cycle for head office employees in a hybrid setting in Ville Saint-Laurent, Quebec. The role requires experience with payroll processing, journal entries, and benefits management.

You will work with ERP systems such as Employeur D/Nethris and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate reporting and government submissions. Proficiency in Excel and English for external communication is required.

Qualifications

• AC P certification or relevant degree is an asset.
• 3–5 years' experience in a similar payroll role.
• Experience with D/Nethris or similar ERP systems is an asset.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• Bilingualism is an asset; English needed for communications outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Complete payroll cycle for non-unionized head office employees.
• Complete payroll cycle for unionized and non-unionized employees.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and analyze related GL accounts.
• Manage taxable benefits and review discrepancies for accuracy.
• Verify and approve payments to various organizations.

Responsibilities

• Complete payroll cycle for non-unionized head office employees
• Complete payroll cycle for unionized and non-unionized
• Prepare various payroll-related journal entries
• Analysis of payroll-related general ledger accounts
• Manage taxable benefits
• Review discrepancies to ensure accurate payroll
• Verify and approve payments to various organizations
• Assist in updating training data as required
• Manage the CNESST Régime Rétrospectif financial file
• Produce various reports for internal, external and statistical requests
• Produce annual government reports
• Support the implementation of special projects
• Participate in the standardization of processes and procedures

Qualifications

• ACP certification or academic degree relevant to payroll (an asset)
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
• Experience working with Employeur D/Nethris or other ERP systems (an asset)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Bilingual (an asset)
