Randstad Canada is hiring a Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting in Montreal for a permanent, hybrid role. You will lead the inventory accounting function, oversee month-end close, and drive financial analysis using Power BI and ERP tools.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of inventory management and leadership experience, with IFRS knowledge and bilingual French/English communication. Competitive compensation with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA designation is a strong asset.
• 10+ years of relevant experience including inventory management and team leadership.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel; Power BI is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full inventory cycle (month-end close, provisions, margins, and markdowns) and manage vendor rebates.
• Produce monthly forecasts and optimize Power BI dashboards (KPIs, inventory turnover, and aging).
• Direct annual physical inventory counts for the store network and analyze shrinkage/shortages.
• Ensure NI 52-109 compliance, maintain documentation (Workiva), and support audits.
• Manage inventory loss claims and valuations for insurance renewals.
• Coach and develop a team of 5 analysts.
