Job summary

Aurora Solar is seeking a Vice President of Product & Design to lead a high-performing team and shape the next phase of our product strategy. You will own the why, what, and what's next behind Aurora’s portfolio, collaborating across the organization to align vision with customer outcomes and commercial priorities.

You will operate at the intersection of customer needs, industry dynamics, and technical possibility, balancing near-term impact with long-term platform bets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product management, including 5+ years leading product and design teams at a senior level.
• Proven experience building and scaling B2B SaaS products, ideally in complex or regulated industries.
• Led organizations through significant change while improving engagement and performance across Product, Design & Engineering.
• Demonstrates success owning product strategy tied to business outcomes (ARR growth, retention, expansion).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering with executives to drive impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and retain a strong product management and design organization.
• Set and own Aurora’s product vision and multi-year roadmap.
• Translate strategy into priorities, goals, and shipped products; monitor KPIs.
• Balance rapid delivery with investments in platform foundations (APIs, integrations, data, AI/ML).
• Be the voice of the solar customer across residential and commercial workflows.
