Job summary

Northlake Financial is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Operations in Barrie, ON to lead strategic and day-to-day operations. This role oversees Originations, Collections, and Recovery while driving efficiency, scalability, and strong financial performance across the organization.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of executive leadership, a proven track record in driving growth, and a data-driven approach to operational excellence in a highly regulated finance

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive operational leadership, with senior management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and departments.
• Strong budgeting, financial acumen, and metrics tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth and profitability.
• Lead Originations, Collections, and Recovery in alignment with cross-functional goals.
• Monitor KPIs like funding volume, turnaround times, productivity, and costs.
• Drive profitability by managing delinquency, recoveries, and risk factors.
• Identify process improvements, automation, and technology needs.
• Oversee budgets, costs, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with dealers and partners, ensuring service levels.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and internal controls.
