Qu Data Centres seeks a Vice President, Data Centre Operations and Development to lead national portfolio performance, reliability, and customer experience. This role drives expansion readiness, CAPEX deployment, and operational excellence as the company scales its data centre footprint across Canada.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data centre operations, critical facilities, or infrastructure leadership.
• Experience with private equity backed environments is an asset.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and CAPEX planning experience.
• Deep knowledge of colocation and high-density compute environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the operational vision for the national datacentre portfolio, including HD and LD environments.
• Lead design and construction readiness for expansion, including power, electrical, mechanical, and architectural inputs.
• Oversee facility operations: uptime, SLAs, capacity, change management, maintenance governance, and vendor management.
• Develop KPIs, reporting, and governance with clear stakeholder alignment.
• Lead and develop a high-performing 24x7x365 team with defined roles and KPIs.
