Job summary

Gibson Energy is seeking an accomplished senior executive to head Capital Markets & Corporate Development in Calgary. The VP will steer capital allocation, financing strategy, and investor relations while guiding mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

The role requires deep financial acumen, governance discipline, and the ability to partner with the CEO, CFO, and Board to drive shareholder value and long-range planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• MBA, CFA, CPA, CBV or equivalent advanced designation preferred.
• 15+ years in capital markets, corporate finance, treasury or investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital allocation strategy and financing activities to optimize structure.
• Oversee acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
• Manage investor relations, earnings communications, and roadshows.
• Guide treasury, liquidity, and risk management with governance.
