MAS – Management Advisory Services – is a unique not-for-profit organization that for 30 years has recruited and matched experienced individuals from the NFP and corporate sectors to provide help, guidance and support to charities, on a pro bono consulting basis.

The Volunteer Marketing Manager Role

MAS volunteers carry out consultation projects with not-for-profit organizations providing analysis, guidance, information, and resources.This role is to provide internal consulting services for MAS itself, helping us to develop a marketing strategy and execute a marketing plan which would include:

1.Working with the MAS Executive Director to

a.Identify and segment the agencies we aspire to serve

b.Understand their key challenges

c.Understand their preferred communication channels

d.Develop marketing messages for each segment and channel

2.Working with MAS Volunteer Consultants to develop collateral and events that support each message (discussion papers, case studies, webinars, workshops, blogs, social media posts, etc)

3.Working with the MAS Technology Manager to update our website and keep it current.

4.Determining what other platforms we should be present on (LinkedIn, etc) and working with MAS Volunteer Consultants to keep us current on those platforms.

What We are Looking For?

Experienced (10 years+) and knowledgeable professionals, currently working or retired.

Familiarity with marketing, both traditional and digital.

Ability to work remotely and comfortable collaborating with a variety of internal stakeholders virtually.
