Job summary

Mills Haven Animal Hospital in Sherwood Park, AB is seeking a Veterinary Reception, Client Care to join our team. This role requires an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to warmly welcome clients and their pets and support the hospital operations.

Responsibilities include managing appointments, calls, emails, admissions and discharges, estimates, invoicing and payments; training staff on CSR processes; contributing to new programs and maintaining a positive reception environment.

• Previous veterinary/reception experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Mills Haven Animal Hospital is currently welcoming an Veterinary Reception, Client Care to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated!

Key Responsibilities

• Previous veterinary/reception experience.
• A confident and positive team player who can motivate others and embrace change.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Provide excellent client service, manage appointments, phone calls, emails, admissions/discharges, estimates, invoicing, and payments.
• Train and support reception and assistant staff on CSR-related processes and procedures.
• Help introduce new programs and initiatives by creating enthusiasm and encouraging team engagement.
• Support team celebrations and help maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere in reception.
• Assist the veterinary team with various tasks and treatments as required.
