Linamar Corporation in Guelph, Ontario is seeking an Accounting Clerk for centralized payment processes. The role requires creating and maintaining supplier profiles in the ERP system and verifying banking details with suppliers.

You will maintain the vendor list to avoid duplicates and support intercompany connections, with a focus on accurate payment platform updates (Wire, ACH, EFT, cheque).

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Supplier/Vendor related experience.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy with a focus on detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with electronic payment methods like SEPA, EFT, ACH, and Wire are assets.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain supplier profiles within the ERP system, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Verbal confirmation of vendor details with suppliers, including company name, address, contact numbers, remittance address and banking information.
• Maintain the vendor list in the ERP to avoid duplicates.
• Connect suppliers to various intercompany facilities.
• Manage the transition of updating supplier payment platforms (Wire, ACH, EFT, cheque).
• Create various ad hoc vendor reports upon request.
• Collaborate with Corporate Purchasing and Centralized Payments for vendor setup and troubleshooting.
