Job summary

Rayner Construction Services Inc. in Burnaby serves as a general contractor with Vancouver roots.

We are seeking a Project Administrator/Coordinator to support the project team with coordination and day-to-day administration on commercial sites in the Vancouver area. You will assist with safety paperwork, RFIs, shop drawings, purchase orders and closeout documents, ensuring information flows smoothly among field and office staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Project Administrator/Coordinator in commercial construction.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reading contracts, specs, RFIs and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide day-to-day project administration for commercial projects.
• Handle safety paperwork, shop drawings, RFIs, purchase orders, change notices and closeout documents.
• Organize, attend and take minutes at project meetings with the Project Manager.
• Solve problems and keep projects moving.
• Review construction documents and keep everyone informed.
• Keep files, logs and records accurate and up to date.
