Manitoulin Health Centre in Mindemoya is seeking a Unit Clerk for a temporary part-time assignment. The role supports efficient unit operations, coordinates patient flow and handles essential clerical tasks such as registration, transfers and discharges to assist nursing staff.

The Unit Clerk facilitates efficient unit operation and coordinates effective patient flow. The Unit Clerk performs various clerical duties such as patient registration, patient transfer, patient discharge and provides support to the nursing units.
Graduate of a Nursing Unit Clerk Program, Medical Office Administrator Program or equivalent
Previous experience as a Unit Clerk
Ability to engage constructively and promote a positive climate within and across internal and/or external groups/partners
Ability to provide services to customers’ needs in a manner that meets and or exceeds expectations
Ability to generate new and valuable ideas to develop new or improved processes or services
$30.50-$32.95 per hour based on experience
