Job summary

Mosaic is seeking an Underground Operator 3 to work on a 12-hour rotating shift at the Colonsay, SK site. You will safely perform duties in an assigned area, operate mobile equipment, and document actions while following safety and OH&S rules.

The role requires Grade 12 or equivalent and a demonstrated safety mindset; underground potash experience is a plus. This onsite position offers a base wage with earned bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform the duties of an Underground Operator in an assigned area on a rotating shift.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and operate mobile equipment safely.
• Follow written or oral instructions and complete required reports.
• Diligently adhere to OH&S regulations and environmental requirements.

Work schedule: 12 hours rotating shift.

Underground Operator 3

The successful candidate will safely and efficiently perform the duties of an Underground Operator in an assigned area on an assigned rotational shift.

What you’ll do:

• Demonstrated Aptitude for safety
• Demonstrate they are physically fit and capable of lifting
• Complete training on hand and power activated tools
• Complete exam and task sheets on equipment as required.
• Keep the work area safe and clean.
• Train and operate mobile equipment safely and effectively.
• Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions, and to mate written reports as required
• Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.
• Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied.

What you’ll need:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Demonstrate aptitude for safety
• The ability necessary to progress through the Lines of Progression
• Underground Potash mining experience considered an asset
