The Mosaic Company seeks an Underground Operator for an on-site role in Colonsay, Saskatchewan. You will safely perform duties in an underground potash operation on a 12-hour rotating shift. Work schedule: 12 hours rotating shift.

Underground Operator 3

The successful candidate will safely and efficiently perform the duties of an Underground Operator in an assigned area on an assigned rotational shift.

What You’ll Do

• Demonstrated Aptitude for safety
• Demonstrate they are physically fit and capable of lifting
• Complete training on hand and power activated tools
• Complete exam and task sheets on equipment as required.
• Keep the work area safe and clean.
• Train and operate mobile equipment safely and effectively.
• Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions, and to mate written reports as required
• Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.
• Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• The ability necessary to progress through the Lines of Progression
• Underground Potash mining experience considered an asset
