The Mosaic Company in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer Co-Op/Intern for Summer 2027. The role focuses on improving plant assets, conducting inspections, and applying root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Housing and relocation support are provided for qualified candidates. You'll work a 9/80 schedule with 36-40 hours per week, engage with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience in an industrial mining environment while contributing to asset

Qualifications

• Third year or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Systems Engineering.
• 72% or higher overall grade.
• Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigating failures to determine root causes and developing corrective actions.
• Inspecting condition of structures, bins, piping and tanks; may include design assessment using modeling or hand calculations.
• Troubleshooting using RCA, 8-step or 5 Why methods.
• Evaluate equipment against design and similar processes.
• Design/size/validate new or modified equipment.
• Identify deficiencies in maintenance processes and develop sustainable improvements.
• Mine data to identify historic design methods and drawings for asset decisions.
• Communicate with personnel at all levels across the organization.
