Job summary

Cameco is hiring a Mine Engineer to provide engineering knowledge and support for planning, scheduling, ventilation, ground control, surveying and related activities at our mining sites in Saskatchewan. You will contribute across multiple disciplines and help ensure safety and high-quality results through strong planning and guidance.

Responsibilities include producing drawings and designs, field surveying, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in mine (or related) engineering.
  • Two to six years of relevant work experience.
  • Eligible for registration with APEGS or working towards PE.
  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Willing to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare engineering documents: drawings, change notices and production designs.
  • Conduct field work associated with surveying, mine ventilation and ground support.
  • Job shadow engineering or mining staff for on-the-job training.
