Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive service writing or a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex mechanical issues in simple terms.
• A solid understanding of automotive parts and repair processes.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and business software.
• Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries regarding repairs and maintenance with transparency and expertise.
• Manage appointment bookings and work closely with the shop foreman to ensure timely vehicle turnaround.
• Inspect vehicles (with technician support) to explain repair processes, provide accurate cost estimates, and prioritize safety-related services.
• Help customers develop long-term maintenance schedules to ensure vehicle longevity.
• Process payments, manage service records, and ensure all documentation is accurate and organized.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming service desk and waiting area.
