Job summary

Pattison Agriculture invites applications for a Semi Truck Driver at our Swift Current, SK location. You will transport equipment for the dealership within Canada and the USA, providing dependable service while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years hauling experience, knowledge of overweight/over-dimensional loads, and a valid 1A license. Excellent computer skills and clean driving records are required; willingness to travel 2–3 days as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience hauling equipment and truck/trailer maintenance.
• Knowledge of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device; ag equipment knowledge is a plus.
• Clean driving abstract in the last 3 years.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid 1A Driver's License; able to drive in Canada and the USA.
• Ability to work extended shifts away from home 2–3 days as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport overweight and over-dimensional equipment to/from customers or between dealerships.
• Support Sales with equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and up-to-date certifications and permits.
• Meet operating standards, inspections, and codes for commercial vehicle transport.
• Keep truck and related equipment in good condition and monitor vehicle performance.

Responsibilities

• Transport over-weight and over-dimensional equipment loads to/from customers and/or between dealerships
• Support Sales Department with equipment deliveries as needed
• Maintain accurate records and up to date certifications and permits
• Meet operating standards, required inspections, and codes for commercial vehicle transport
• Keep assigned truck and related equipment in good condition and monitor performance and mechanical fitness of vehicle
• Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed
• Ensure self and others follow all safety regulations and requirements
• Build and maintain positive co-worker relations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience hauling equipment, and truck/trailer repair/maintenance
• Knowledgeable of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device, and operation of ag equipment would be considered an asset
• Clean drivers abstract in the last 3 years
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid 1A Drivers License, and ability to drive within Canada and USA
• Must be able to work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required
