Job summary

Pattison Agriculture is seeking a Semi Truck Driver to operate from our Swift Current, SK location. You will transport equipment for the dealership within Canada and the USA, providing excellent customer service and maintaining safety and compliance throughout routes.

The role requires extensive equipment hauling experience, knowledge of heavy loads, and a valid 1A license. This position involves extended shifts away from home and opportunities for growth within a leading agricultural dealership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience hauling equipment.
• Knowledge of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device would be considered an asset.
• Clean driver’s abstract in the last 3 years.
• Valid 1A Drivers License, and ability to drive within Canada and USA.
• Must be able to work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport over-weight and over-dimensional equipment loads to/from customers and/or between dealerships.
• Support Sales Department with equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and up to date certifications and permits.
• Meet operating standards, required inspections, and codes for commercial vehicle transport.
• Keep assigned truck and related equipment in good condition and monitor performance and mechanical fitness of vehicle.
• Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed.
• Ensure self and others follow all safety regulations and requirements.
• Build and maintain positive co‑worker relations.
