Job summary

Pattison Agriculture in Humboldt, SK is seeking a Part-Time Pilot Truck Driver to support our dealership team. You will assist in transporting oversized equipment and operate the pilot vehicle, delivering safe, on-time handling for customers and colleagues.

You must be prepared for flexible hours, long trips including overnight stays, and the ability to load and secure cargo. A Grade 12 education and a valid driver’s license (1A preferred) are required or asset.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends and on-call duties.
• Load, secure and transport cargo including oversized/ agricultural equipment.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods, including overnight trips.
• Adaptable to changing environments and upholds safety rules.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and/or dealership locations.
• Record all time/distance traveled for assigned duties.
• Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report any defects.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Build and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and/or dealership locations
• Record all time/distance traveled for assigned duties
• Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report any defects

Requirements

• Know how to load, secure, transport a wide variety of cargo
• Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays, be on-call
• Adaptable to changing environment
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device considered an asset
• A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Agriculture background/experience, knowledge of towing ag equipment considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license
• 1A Driver’s License, experience driving trucks (to operate heavy, oversized and semi equipment) would be considered an asset
• Ability to travel for long periods of time; some overnight trips may be required
