Job summary

Pattison Agriculture in Humboldt, SK is seeking a Semi Truck Driver to join our growing trucking team. You will transport equipment for the dealership across Canada and the USA, providing excellent customer service and reliable deliveries from our Humboldt location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience hauling equipment and truck/trailer maintenance.
• Knowledge of overweight/over dimensional hauls and RGN trailers.
• Clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device and ag equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport overweight and over-dimensional equipment between customers and dealerships.
• Support Sales Department with equipment deliveries as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and up-to-date certifications and permits.
• Meet operating standards and required inspections for commercial transport.
• Keep assigned truck and equipment in good condition and monitor performance.
• Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and foster positive coworker relations.

Our Truck Drivers provide exceptional customer service through the transportation of equipment for the dealership (within Canada and the USA). Responsibilities

• Transport over-weight and over-dimensional equipment loads to/from customers and/or between dealerships
• Support Sales Department with equipment deliveries as needed
• Maintain accurate records and up to date certifications and permits
• Meet operating standards, required inspections, and codes for commercial vehicle transport
• Keep assigned truck and related equipment in good condition and monitor performance and mechanical fitness of vehicle
• Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed
• Ensure self and others follow all safety regulations and requirements
• Build and maintain positive co-worker relations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience hauling equipment, and truck/trailer repair/maintenance
• Knowledgeable of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device, and operation of ag equipment would be considered an asset
• Clean drivers abstract in the last 3 years
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid 1A Drivers License, and ability to drive within Canada and USA
• Must be able to work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required
